Financial Analyst

Position Overview:

AdTheorent is seeking a high performing Financial Analyst to join our Finance team! We are looking for a highly motivated individual who thrives working in a fast-paced, high growth environment and enjoys being a team player. The successful candidate will provide valuable insights and help drive financial analysis and reporting that allows senior leadership to make informed business operation decisions. You’ll work with members across the organization to help facilitate continuous improvement of our financial reporting and analytics and build out new processes. This role offers an opportunity to gain direct experience and play a key role in the financial month end process.

Responsibilities:                              

• Prepare and maintain monthly GL reconciliations and analysis; complete monthly close procedures; compile and post detailed journal entries     
• Maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets and schedules             
• Conduct detailed financial analysis of data; compile variance analysis reports           
• Assist with day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure improvement, reporting, and financial analysis initiatives, through the implementation of new systems, policies, and processes
• Build and maintain relationships with various teams within the company           
• Maintain flexibility to work on special projects and other duties as needed                              

Desired Skills and Experience:               

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1-3 years of experience            
• Experience working with Big 4 or in a large regional accounting firm            
• Must be an organized multitasker with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines           
• Exceptional written, oral and reading communication skills             
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite a must              
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel           
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment           
• Experience with Salesforce a plus                
• Media/Advertising experience a plus
