Financial Analyst

  • Prepare and maintain monthly GL reconciliations and analysis; complete monthly close procedures; compile and post detailed journal entries
  • Maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets and schedules
  • Generate customer invoices, credit memos and issue timely statements
  • Prepare and present weekly reporting package to management on the status of AR collections and potential issues
  • Accurately post client payments
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of data; compile variance analysis reports
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure improvement, reporting, and financial analysis initiatives, through the implementation of new systems, policies, and processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with various teams within the company
  • Monitor client accounts and maintain collection log; interact with client's finance teams on a daily basis
  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure accuracy in billing and collections procedures
  • Maintain flexibility to work on special projects and other duties as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1-3 years of experience
  • Experience working with Big 4 or in a large regional accounting firm
  • Must be an organized multitasker with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional written, oral and reading communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus  
  • Media/Advertising experience a plus
